Not stocking shelves yet, but one step closer to opening up shop here in #Almonte . @ambleandcross to follow along. Two months ago, my longtime friend and onetime roommate @dawnwalkerdesign suggested we open a retail space together. It wasn't on my radar for this year, but we've found a small (read tiny) manageable space at 65 Mill Street. #letthefunbegin
#gettingmytrimon #kinda Oslo is getting bigger, and I am finding more time to get into the studio. It's a little sad to consider trimming two bowls a success, but puppy takes priority. Apparently, August is my lucky month (said the Leo). Each of the first two days has brought an unexpected opportunity...and I intend to seize them both. Hope to share more over the next couple of days.
Slowly getting to squeeze studio time into puppy's schedule. 🙂
#maybethesecurityguardhastreats Great Canada Day weekend here in Almonte. Thanks to @etsy , @cheerfullymade, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Next up is the Summer Market at the Canadian Museum of History, @canmushistory, starting this Thursday and running through Sunday.
Since the installers arrived with a smile this morning and worked through today's pouring rain to finish the windows and doors, the least I could do was stand under a tree during a thunderstorm to appreciate their work.
#couldipackanymoreintothismonth Busy week with new windows and doors being installed. Oslo is a #littlehelper , but Mason staked claim to his spot and decided the installers can work around him. The studio, like the rest of the house is turned upside down, but I am still hoping to get one more glaze firing in before the Etsy Canada Day Market this Saturday. #keywordhoping
This little fellow, Frey Oslo Kohl, is the newest addition to the family. ❤️ Mason isn't too keen on the new addition.
